Aujourd'hui il s'impose à l'investigates par les dynamiques sociales conflictuelles dans lesquelles sont engagés les groupes non hégémoniques. La duplicite du quotidien — répétition chargee d'événements prégnants — est homologue à celle des histoires de vie. Au niveau épistémologique, elle dépend de la nature insaisissable du temps. Les histoires de vie familiale, récollées avec des soins méthodologiques particuliers, peuvent montrer comment le « moi » organise son quotidien et comment celui-ci se définit dans la tension permanente avec la culture dominante. What is daily life ? For a long time, it has been the negative residual of scientific knowledge. Today it is imposed to the social investigator through the conflictual dynamics in which non-hegemonic groups are engaged. Daily life's duplicity — repetition laden with significant events — is homological with life-history's. From an epistemological perspective, this duplicity is caused by the ungraspable nature of lime. Family life-histories, when they are collected with particular methodological care, may show how « self » organizes daily-life, which, in turn, is defined in a constant tension with the dominant culture.</p> |
